Scripture tells us in Matthew 11:28-30 that Jesus invites the weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. This isn't just about sleep; it's about a soul-rest that stays with you even while you work. When we stop trying to prove our value through our pace, we start experiencing God's presence in our place.

Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray and reconnect with the Father. He wasn't hurried, yet He fulfilled His entire purpose. He lived from a place of overflow, not emptiness. By prioritizing the "pause," we allow the Spirit to refill us so we aren't just running on fumes, but running on His power.

Jesus, I give You my "to-do" list and my anxiety. Teach me how to rest in the middle of the rush. Let my peace be a signal to this city that You are in control.
God created us, He knows all things, and we cannot be without Him. He is the Great I Am. The Alpha and the Omega. My and your everything.
